Abstract:

Spreadsheet describing recommended doses, frequencies for geriatric patients. Short messages about medication titration and/or adverse effects is also included (we display at time of drug order). Medications are restricted to those on Vanderbilt Inpatient formulary but might provide a start for those wishing to implement geriatric dosing in CPOE or other prescribing environments. This can serve as a basis for other geriatric dosing educational tools or decision support. Please notify the primary author of any concerns about dosing recommendations.
